Check net filament weight and large spool fit
Specify whether 3kg refers to net filament weight. The spool adds tare weight, so gross weight alone cannot confirm the amount of filament. Agree on a net-weight check and acceptance method with the supplier.
For a larger spool, check outer diameter, width, hub bore, holder load rating and clearance. Confirm that the spool rotates freely and the filament path stays clear on the intended printer or external holder. A 3kg label alone does not establish compatibility with an enclosed feeder.
